While we are waiting for the first official trailer for Aquaman, we can already enjoy the first poster for the movie.
I have to say that I really love this poster and I have high hopes for this movie. Mainly because I trust James Wan as a director and I love Jason Momoa, I'm biased on that. In fact, I really hope that this movie will turn out be as a big of a success as Wonder Woman was, both commercially and critically. However, this movie will go pretty much head to head with Mary Poppins Returns. Maybe that's why this poster is more family friendly than what I expected it to be. Although I didn't notice it, the internet has brought into my attention that this poster looks very Pixar, in fact it looks really similar to Finding Nemo's poster. I wouldn't have notice it, but once you see it, you cannot unsee it. I still think it's a good poster.
As much as I am excited for this movie, I don't think that if it will do well it will be enough to save the DCEU. But, I hope it will do well.

I love Jason Momoa, but the Aquaman in the Justice League movie was such a far cry from the aquaman I know from the animations it kinda put me off.
Still, since I can't stay away from anything geeky, here's to hoping it comes out great. 🙌

I don't know how he is in the animation, I know that this character is considered unpopular so they can change it however they like. Almost no one will care that much. I doubt this movie will be similar to JL though.
