If You Haven't Seen Avengers: Endgame Yet, You Have To During This Weekend

This post doesn’t contain spoilers for Avengers: Endgame. Marvel's brilliant camping of #Don'tspoiltheendgame is now over. Marvel announced that next week a new trailer for Spider-Man: Far from Hone will hit the internet and will include a spoiler warning for Avengers: Endgame. The Russo brothers also announced in a video for Good Morning America that they are going to start talking the movie on Monday. Not necessarily spoilers, but more plot oriented. So if you want to be in on everything that is going on, you should totally watch Avengers: Endgame this weekend.

What a brilliant marketing move. Probably meant to burry Pokémon: Detective Pikachu at the box office this weekend. Also Marvel wants that second weekend drop to be as small as possible, but it will be really big no matter what, because even an excellent 150 million second weekend is larger drop than 50%. That's what happens when you open with 357 million dollars in the U.S. alone.

For now Avengers: Endgame is going on strong during the middle of the week. It made 500 million dollars in the middle of the week. Avengers: Endgame made 473 million dollars in the U.S. and is now the 15th highest grossing movie in the U.S. It also made 1.7 billion dollars worldwide which makes it the 5th highest grossing movie of all times with only Avengers: Infinity War, Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Titanic and Avatar ahead of it. It is very likely that the movie will cross the 2 billion mark during the weekend and will become the second highest grossing movie of all time. Will it hit that 3 billion dollars mark? I don't know. All I know is that I saw this movie twice and I am going to see it two more times. It is just so good.
