Ok, this is all potential spoilers for Captain Marvel and possibly Avengers 4 so process at your own risk. On March 9th Samuel L. Jackson uploaded this pictures from the set of Captain Marvel to his Instagram account:
This is the kind of mask that is used to create an accurate model of someone's face for various reason. I believe one of those reasons is to create a Skrull replica for Nick Fury. We already know that the Skrulls are the villains of the movie, and we know that Nick Fury doesn't trust anybody. So putting those two together, I think that Fury finds himself in a situation where his replica is running around New-York. Or perhaps it's even worse, perhaps the Nick Fury that we have known all this time in the MCU is actually a Skrull, who doesn't trust anyone, because he doesn't want to be discovered. This could mean that Avengers 4 will be a Secret Invasion.
