Tomb Raider New Poster.jpg

Tomb Raider is only two short months away, so now its advertising campaign has began. Last year we had #WonderWomanWednesday now we have #TombRaiderTuesday. On January 9th a short video of Alicia Vikander was uploaded to Twitter where she announced the start of #TombRaiderTuesday. Nothing was uploaded on the previous Tuesday, but today I give you #TombRaiderThursday the new Tomb Raider trailer.

I must admit that this trailer looks a lot more impressive than the previous one. I mean, it looks like it has more plot. However, it still feels very computer game to me. I am not sure that it is helpful to emphasis that Alicia Vikander is an Oscar winner, but it's the main reason she was hired so why not play it up. We will see if Hollywood's strategy of hiring Oscar winner for big blockbusters payoff at the box office. Also, why have #TombRaiderTuesday and not release the trailer on Tuesday?
I am still pretty excited about this movie, are you? What do you think about the trailer?

finally such an old franchise

There is so much room for improvement with the franchise. A lot of people don't like the old mo,vies.

This is actually the first I'm hearing of this! The trailer looks good... especially how they use the song 'Survivor'. March, huh? Something more to look forward to.

Yep. March 16. I think that the Survivor song didn't really fit. I mean it does talk about Destiny's Child surviving without two original group members, but I'll let it slide. I wish it had cooler music like Wonder Woman's theme music which is epic.

If every movie was Wonder Woman, we wouldn't have any problems would we? :D

Wonder Woman had problems. Like the last third of the movie. But you can bet that Marvel will make Captain Marvel a better movie.

I agree. The other one is very superficial. Relying more on the big special effects. We see it at the theater almost every visit. Three scenes where Vikander leaps in slo-mo while going "aaaagggggh." I have been wanting to see it anyway, but it is nice to see a trailer that give the story a bit of depth.
