I loved the first Wonder Woman and I hated what was done to the character in Justice League. Luckily, looks like Wonder Woman 2 will bring back what I loved about the first movie. This confirms what we've heard that the movie will take place in the past during the Cold War. Also, you have to love the specific choice of year. I know that a lot of important things happened during 1984, it is a very significant historical year. But, as others have notice this is probably a reference to George Orwell's 1984. That automatically makes it more sophisticated than most superheroes movies out there, I can't wait to find out how it will evoke concepts or easter eggs or anythings from the book. I am super excited.
