I'm only 30 myself, but I knew how popular Burt was from being around my grandparents growing up watching TV shows and movies late at night before going to bed. Smokey and the Bandit with that Firebird is still an easy memory to recall from my childhood. I've never seen Deliverance, but I feel like I need to now after reading this. Another great write up!

Thanks! I think Deliverance is a must see for any movie fan. It is a bit slow compared to today's movies... but it is still haunting.
