The Trollhunters on Netflix - Fantastic action for kids!

I do not watch kids series on Netflix, but I have kids who want to watch a little bit of TV every day. And as they are boys and grow older, they want to see more and more action. And that is how I bumped into Trollhunters!

I am not very good at it, but I believe a parent should have a feeling about what their kids are watching on the TV. It might be a series for kids, but often such series are packed with violence and scary material, and thus it is important to have a feeling about the stuff our kids are watching.

The first thing I noticed about Trollhunters is the name of the director, Guillermo del Toro. I immediately recognized his name, as he won an Acadamy Award for his work as a director of The Shape of Water... and now he is directing a TV series for kids on Netflix? That is kind of awesome!

The Trollhunters is fantastic!

Now I have watched and seen quite some episodes of Trollhunters. It is scary, it is quite packed with violence and action, so it isn't ideal for young kids. But, if your kids are in the correct age-group, this is a brilliant production. The colors and the characters are awesome, and it is simply a stunning set of people in the story. They are so delightful to watch, and it is a high quality production.

I like the conversations, I like the humor, and the morale of the series and the main character, the trollhunter, is also good. Still, it is a bit too violent for me, so I always pay attention to the kids, and if I feel as if it has a bad effect on their behavior, it is time to take a break from Trollhunters.

But, take a look at Trollhunters yourself, and I believe you will be amazed at the quality of this Netflix original series!
