Hello dear friends. I know I’m a day late on posting this. I just wasn’t able to get it finished in time for the Halloween even though I worked on it here and there for most of yesterday.
So I had the choice to either scrap it and forget about the whole annual Halloween movie list. Should I save it for a year until next Halloween. In the end I decided so what if it’s a day late, the people are still in the Halloween spirit even after the actual day.
So for what it’s worth HERE IT IS!
1. Tales from the dark side
Like Creep show, this movie is three tales of horror in one. Only in this movie the stories are told by a kid (played by the annoying Joey from blossom) who’s trying to distract a witch whose planning to eat him for dinner.
The gargoyle story stuck in my head as a kid. Great movie with stars like Christian Slater and Steve bushemi.
2. Troll
This movie is one of my favorites. It used to creep me out when I was little, because of the scene in the basement where Torok (the troll) is holding the ball. I would be afraid to go to the basement alone, however I’d force myself to anyways. lol
3. Monkey shines
One thing we can learn from horror movies, experimented on lab animals don’t make good pets. Monkey shines is no exception to that rule. One day you have a super smart helper monkey, the next you have a psychotic jealous animal that will kill to keep you to herself. Fun movie for the family!
4. Kingdom of the spiders
I was obsessed with spiders as a kid, so a movie where spiders take over a town was just a no-brainer. Doesn’t hold a candle to the movie arachnophobia, but it came before it and that’s something at least lol.
5. Munchies
If you like movies like the famously popular gremlins, well here’s a cheap knockoff. However, I liked it as a kid and if you look cheesy horror films with bad acting, you’re sure to like this film too.

6. Tod Browning’s freaks
Classic black and white film, featuring real life actual freak show performers. One of a kind movie you need to see at least once in your life. Talk about inclusive “ One of us! One of us! Gooble Gobble! Gooble Gobble!”
7. Monster squad
This is such a fun film to watch. You got all your classic monsters. Dracula, the wolfman, the swamp monster, the mummy, and Frankenstein’s monster. Vs, a small group of teens and their little dog.
“Sean: Kick him in the nards! Kick him in the nards!
Horace: He doesn't have nards!
Sean: Do it, do it!
Horace: (after kicking) - Wolfman's got nards!”
😂 awesome!
8. Dead alive (brain dead)
Okay so obviously not all these movies are from my childhood. However, a good horror is a good horror. This zombie film was introduced to me by my ex (who is a big time zombie horror fan), and is apparently directed by Peter Jackson! Sure you are familiar with Peter Jackson thanks to the Lord of rings movies. Anyways, this film is funny and gory and what Ican only described as a Zabie. A zombie conceived baby. Simply fantastic!
An absolute must watch if you are a fan of the zombie horror/comedy genre.
9. Zombi 2
Now I'm not a big zombie fan, but this movie is up there for me for having some great zombie moments. I mean where else are you going to see a zombie fight a shark? Zombi 2, that’s where!

10. The worm eaters
I haven't seen this since I was a little boy, so I remember like two scenes in the film. One scene of people eating ice cream cones with worms in it and a scene of giant worm people. That's it! lol

11. Ticks
Ticks, a movie with actors like Clint Howard, Seth Green, Ami Dolenz and Alfonso Ribeiro <--- That's right..Carlton! and he plays a tough guy street thug LMAO. Totally worth 85 minutes of your time!
Promise me that if you choose ticks tonight, that when you are making popcorn, you do the Carlton.

12. Return of the living dead
The sequel to night of the living dead and the birthplace of Tarman (who I featured on the cover of my latest post). Great movie and a must watch if you are a fan of zombie films.
13. The slumber party massacre
Again if you like cheesy knockoff films with bad acting. You’re welcome.
14. Re-animator
Amazing film and a cult classic among horror fans.
15. Killer klowns from outer space
“Send in the clowns, those laughy daffy clowns.” Another great film! Clowny, yet creepy, and very apropos at the moment. What with our inverse clown world programming today. However, it’s the time of the year to kick back and let the horrors of the real world fade as you watch killer Klowns cocooning people in cotton candy!
#16. Attack of Killer tomatoes
Have you ever seen a bunch of killer mutant tomatoes, attack a town before? You’re in for a treat then. Oh, and I’ll best believe there are sequels to this masterpiece. lol
17. Soylent Green
Fiction meet reality, this 1973 film set in the year 2022, and stars the famous over-actor Charlton Heston. Depicts an overpopulated world, struggling with ‘global warming’ and the depletion of resources. The people are completely reliant on a company called soylent industries to feed them. Well I’m sure you’re already familiar with the saying “soylent green is people”. Yeah, well the global warming/ climate change may still be a case of fiction. However, it’s the “It’s people” part that I’m more concerned about at this point. You can read my thoughts on that here
18. Cat’s eye
Another three horror stories in one all tied together by a cute kitty cat. Speaking of cats I’m currently fostering 8 (7 are kittens) aside from the 5 that are mine. Yes, you counted that correctly. 13 cats in my house right now. Help!
Fortunately, soon a bunch of them will be ready for adoption and I’ll have some breathing room for a minute lol.
one of the 8 has a congenital issue and may be with us for a good while. I’ll be telling you all about him in a future post so stayed roomed for that.
19. C.H.U.D.
Cannibalistic Humanoid Under-Dwellers. Need I say more?
20. Invaders from mars (1986)
I really liked this one as a kid.
21. Dreamscape
Great movie starring Dennis quad. It’s took me many years to find this movie going off just one creepy scene I remembered from my childhood. Glad I was able to finally find it and watch it again. Enjoy!
22. Puppet Master
There are a lot of movies in this franchise, I think I got up to the 5th installment of puppet masters. So if that’s worth anything in your mind. I suggest you watch first movie at the very least.
23. Mickey
“Mickey likes it” well this psychotic child, Mickey really likes it, it being his older step sister in this case. Mickey is the product of all the things that could and do go wrong with child foster system. However, the focus is all on Mickey as the evil in this movie. I’ve always enjoyed movies where everything is fine until the main character wigs out and starts killing people. This movie is no exception. Enjoy!
24. The howling
The howling is another one of those movies with many many sequels. I do love werewolf movies, and it’s been a long time since I’ve watched one. The next time I do, it will definitely be the howling.
Hmm, maybe I should make The Howling my feature for tomorrow on my “Friday Night Frights” series over on bitchute. You can view last Friday’s episode here
25. The good son
If you like Macaulay Culkin’s character in home alone, and whatever other popular movies he’s in as a kid, You’ll probably not like his character in the good son. Co-starring alongside a young Elijah Wood. Macaulay plays a psychotic little shit, like in the movie Mickey, only he’s not the foster child in this movie (that’s the part Elijah wood plays), he’s mommies boy and later mommy is faced with an interesting dilemma at the end of the movie.
To watch or not to watch, that is the question!
Thank you so much for stopping by. I really hope you enjoyed my list and if you watch any on my list or even from my 2018 list this Halloween. Please let me know in comments. Would love to hear your thoughts.
Thanks again and until next time.

I've seen several of these movies. They're mostly in the vein of "so bad they're good." 🎃 👻 💀 🤣 😎

Venomnymous? Out of all the movies that you listed, I would have to say that Dreamscape starring Dennis Quaid was the most carefully crafted film. Then again, my opinion on this is quite subjective inasmuch as I am a science-fiction buff. I saw a trailer on YouTube concerning a remake of The Fly that was supposed to be released this year. I don't know what ever happened with that scheduled movie premiere. They didn't show all that much in the trailer except for this one really bone-chilling scene in which the scientist is walking through an underground parking lot and from what you catch of his face, he has already begun changing into an insect. That is, he has those claws that hang out of an insect's mouth or face. Anyhow, your article was well written, and I gave it an upvote.

By the way, I don't know if you remember me, but I was the one who told you in another post of mine in the comments section on another Steemit channel that I was going to do an article regarding Demi Moore and that one viral video of her from 1982. You told me to go ahead and let you know when it was finished and to provide you a link to it. Here is the link to my article, if you still wish to read it.>>> Click onto https://steemit.com/news/@epicenterdefacto/is-corey-feldman-a-pedophile
