마음속 풍경을 화면으로 표현하는 기술 중에서 펠리니 감독은 전작 8과1/2에서 꿈과 주술의 장면을 이용했습니다. 영혼의 줄리에타에서는 주술이 먼저 나오고 꿈이 나옵니다. 두 작품은 이야기 구조적으로도 한쌍인데 전작에서는 본인의 직업인 영화감독 이야기와 엔딩을 말했던 것으로 봐서 영혼의 줄리에타는 펠리니감독의 실제 와이프인 줄리에타 마시나가 이야기를 하는것으로 봐야 할 것입니다.

싸이보그에서 일순은 판사에게 너는 점으로 소멸될 것이라는 저주를 받는데 이 영화에서 줄리에타(줄리에타 마시나 분)는 너는 쓸모없는 사람 이라는 치명타를 받고 시작합니다. 귀부인인 줄리에타는 사실 부족한 것이 없기 때문에 가장 약한부분인 정체성에 대해 공격받습니다. "너는 누구냐?"는 선문답과 같은데 줄리에타는 이 떡밥을 물어버릴까요?

뇌리에서 떠나지 않는 줄리에타는 남편이 다른여자의 이름을 대며 잠꼬대를 하자 심란해집니다. 주위 하녀들은 약점을 잡았다는듯이 슬쩍 비꼬고 엄마는 사설탐정을 붙여보라고 종용합니다. 줄리에타는 남편의 바람이 트리거가 되어 여러사람들을 만나봅니다. 힌두교구루, 프로이디안, 귀납론자, 쾌락주의자, 예술가들, 가톨릭인 등을 만납니다. 그들을 만나는 장면이 바뀌는 지점과 방법들이 매우 다채롭고 그들의 이론을 핵심만 잡아내고 있는데 화려하기까지 합니다. 예술가 줄리에타마시나의 머릿속을 감상해봅시다. 하지만 그들은 줄리에타의 문제를 해결할수 없었고 오히려 줄리에타가 그들에게 도움을 주고 있습니다. 그저 약간의 힌트만을 가져가는데 이것은 관객들을 위한 장면입니다.

줄리에타는 언제나 적극적으로 하려던 일을 주위에서 강제로 멈춰버려 어느 곳으로도 치우치지 않았던 사람이었습니다. 그래서 주위 사람들은 그녀를 항상 자기 편으로 끌어당기고 있었던 것입니다. 하지만 희생연극에서 그랬듯 몸이 묶인 상태였기때문에(그들에게 마음을 열었었기 때문에) 자유로울수 없었던 그녀는 스스로의 끈을 풀어냅니다.

엔딩을 보면 배우로써의 고민의 답을 보여주고 있는데 예술가로써 연기자는 전작에서의 영화감독만큼이나 주저하며 여러 이야기를 듣고 있습니다. 줄리에타 마시나의 훌륭한 연기는 우연히 나온 것이 아님을 잘 보여주고 있는 영화입니다.

Among the techniques of expressing the scenery of the mind on the screen, Fellini used scenes of dreams and witchcraft in the 8th and 1/2 previous episodes. In Juliet Of The Spirits, magic comes first and dream comes second. Both works are structurally story-based, and Fellini has said that the filmmaker's story and ending are his work in the previous film, so Julietta of the soul should be seen as the story of Fellini's real wife, Julietta Masina.

In Park Chan-wook film Cyborg, Il-soon is cursed by the judge that you will die as a point, and in this movie Julieta (Julietta Marcina) begins to receive the criticism that you are useless. His wife, Julieta, is attacked by her weakest part, identity, because she is not in fact lacking. "Who are you?" Seems like the quote, but will Julieta ask for this?

Hindu gurus, Prudian, intellectuals, hedonists, artists and Catholics. The points and ways of changing the scene where they meet are very colorful and they are capturing the core of their theories, and they are even gorgeous. Let's take a look at the mind of artist Julieta Marcina. But they could not solve Julieta's problem, and Julietta is helping them. It just takes a little hint, it's a scene for the audience.

Julietta was a woman who had always been forced to stop what she was going to do positively and did not move anywhere. So the people around her were always pulling her on their side. But because she was tied up (as she had opened her heart) as she did in the sacrifice theater, she was free to release her own strings.

The ending shows the anxieties of an actor as an actor. As an artist, the performer hesitates as much as the film director in the previous film and hears many stories. It is a film that shows that Julieta Marcina's great acting is not by accident.
