MSI announced the Prestige PR341WU screen on the Taipei computex, a new model belonging to the Prestige family. It is a display specifically aimed at so-called creators, i.e. those users who use PC solutions to develop their own creations typically linked to the world of photography, video or virtual reality.
At CES 2019 in Las Vegas last January, MSI presented this range with the aim of offering this particular market niche a series of technologically comprehensive solutions that can best meet the needs of those who create content.
The Prestige PS341WU screen has a 34-inch diagonal panel with a ratio of 21:9 between the two sides, with a resolution of 5120x2160 pixels equal to the height resolution of 4 K and a width of 33 percent higher. We mention the HDR 600 support and 98% DCI-P3 precision among the other technical features.
The screen makes the Creator OSD utility accessible from an operating system: it allows you to configure and calibrate the screen's operating parameters, adapting the response to the applications used. This tool operates in parallel with a similar one implemented by MSI in Prestige family notebooks and systems, optimizing the operation of the system in terms of processor and memory according to the specific needs of the installed personal productivity and creativity applications.
