That being said, some people have to take it to extremes. For instance, almost every major "influencer"/social media "reporter" that has a youtube channel, podcast, etc... they all have to toe the same regurgitated line. That's something I'm proud I don't do. I will always speak my mind and it will be my true heart.
One example of this is covid. When many within the liberty movement were saying it wasn't even a real disease, I admitted to the fact that it's very real and harmful to those at high risk (and to most everyone else was just like another illness, albeit somewhat different symptoms). I never denied the fact that covid killed people. I was still anti-govt involvement, but I was still crucified by my own camp for stating the real facts about covid-19.
I don't have to rely on getting funding from my camp to survive like other vloggers and bloggers, news channels, radio hosts, etc.... I already have a great life and could technically almost retire right now and live a decent life. I don't need any libertarians to like me or to promote me. I don't care if they disagree with me (although I'll definitely hear almost anyone out with a serious disagreement that they say is backed by logic and reason).
Thing is, every side does this. CNN will pander to the democrats, Fox News panders to the riled up conservatives, and so on.... not just libertarian bloggers.
There's so much extremist party toting that I feel the real, less biased perspective is lost and everything is pushing extremism to keep and grow a rabid fan base.
I hope that I never lose my ability to speak my mind despite what any other group or party says.
