SPOTLIGHT ON THE ARTIST Episode 2

Thomas Robert Gent ( @thomasrobertgent ) presented a collaboration he did with @tygertyger on vocals, singing lyrics written by @poeticsnake , a tune called,
Before You Here I Stand. In the conversation that ensued, Tom mentioned how one must enjoy the moment the music creates without getting too specific about which genre applies to the music. He also expressed a deep gratitude for the opportunity to work with such a talented lyricist and remarkable vocalist that appeared on this recording both of whom he met on Steemit and with whom, discussed the collaboration on Discord.

LFO-One ( @bushradio ) presented his recording "People M“ recorded using his favored synthesizer, The Spectralis. He described this tune as part Trance and part 'space dance', 'peace, love', part 'old school' Berlin 1990's deep house, yet to be released, other than on choon, and provided the bilingual portion of the show, describing the tune in both German and English ... and speaking in the language of music.

AsonIntrigue spoke to us about a tune from his debut solo EP, a collaboration with a long time friend @illpoetic , "Who Survives the Flood“ then chatted about his involvement in the 5% Movement and where his pseudonym came from. Also part of the topic of conversation includes the organic source of the sounds which make the percussive sounds. We all recognized the broad experience and knowledge of @asonintrigue . He plugged his 'Broken Brain Tour' with Dookie Brownflow ( @wolfnworbeikood ) and his latest film project, a psycho thriller.

To The Sun ( @to-the-sun ) described the development of his "The Amanuensis: Automated Songwriting and Recording“ an automated recording system that 'jams along with you' both a musical composition, improvisation, and recording tool, with an interface that has similarity to Guitar Hero, only with more advanced features to appeal to not only gamers but also seasoned instrumentalists. Some music created with it was heard here.

TygerTyger ( @tygertyger ) pounced upon us with her latest collaboration with Junkfeathers ( @junkfeathers ) a project called 'Tygerfeathers', their latest tune being "Love“ These two prolific artists fairly much spontaneously produced this tune last week. Tyger Tyger also has a number of other collaborations in the works, then also later plugged her One Project a 'chain tape' recording of many musicians collaborating to raise consciousness on Social and Environmental issues, similar to Kevin Godley's 1990 One World One Voice.

Twysted One aka @inthenow closed our show with his tune, Fractured , a tune he did right before a trusty old studio computer of his had a malfunction of the CPU cooling system. The present tune is part of his works that was created in part for the #smlchallenge and #beatbattle . Later we talked of his being a parent, and the intense heat in his studio this summer, the weather in general, and environment in the Appalachian Mountains where he and his daughter make their home.
