I am writing this post in anticipation of getting some quality suggestions from the successful Steemit community.

We have seen/read a lot of posts about how to succeed here at Steemit. It may be related to post content, curation, rewards, bots etc. Today I want to shed some light on how should we re-invest our earnings to earn even more.

We all know that the journey from a minnow to a dolphin or whale is not easy here at Steemit. It needs a lot of efforts. Sure it does. But with efforts it also needs smart strategies to be used.

We all might have earned some amount of SBD with some quality posts, curation and generosity from whales. The question is, Should I buy Steem and power-up my account with these earnings ? I assume a unanimous answer as yes.

When is it best/profitable to buy Steem using your SBD ?
1) When Steem is cheaper or
2) When Steem is cheaper as compared to SBD

Does the price of Steem or SBD w.r.t. Fiat currencies matter when you are exchanging your SBD to Steem. My understanding is that SBD to Steem is independent of their prices w.r.t fiat currencies. As long as SBD is having more price than Steem, the deal is profitable, no matter if they are priced at $10 a steem or $100 a steem.

Any more tips around this topic are most welcome.
