I love metal. I threw it out there from the first day I got here, on my profile and in my intro, but I've never gotten around to posting about it. Time to knuckle up, kids.

When I started on Steemit, I had no idea just how far this platform would take me in two months. In sixty five days, I've powered through to take on and accomplish some pretty cool stuff, been given some pretty amazing opportunities, and have made some pretty excellent friends — and now, as of last week, I'm hosting a metal radio show on @SirCork and @Aggroed's brainchild, MSPWaves Radio. This is kind of the best thing ever, so if you haven't tuned in yet, well... COME GET SOME.

The very first Full Force Thursday was a beautiful disaster!

The highest number of listeners the radio has had yet got online to join me for three solid hours of my goofy ass spinning a huge selection of metal and hard subgenres, and to laugh at me awkwardly declare my love to music. We threw down. We thrashed hard. We found our horns, and lost our pants.

Basically, it was perfect.

We started off talking about our general love of music, and about just how weirdly wide the spectrum of metal can get. Remember, we have a live MSPWaves chat on the PALnet Discord, so you can always come hang out and mosh with all the other fishies in the pond; you better tune in, and you better come say hello! We moved on to some of my favourites — it's my show after all, DEALWITHIT — and tied in some of the Minnow Support Project themes to my song choices. For those of you getting to know me, my personal philosophy on Steemit, in MSP, and IRL is this:

KINDNESS 👏 COSTS 👏 NOTHING 👏

We had a few positive bangers to drive the point home — being kind may not cost anything, but it sure as hell doesn't have to be quiet! We took some requests, and I even forgot not once, not twice, but three times to turn my mic on (first live radio show for me equals side splitting hilarity for you.) We sang, we threw some elbows, and I swore like a deranged badger, albeit only if talking badgers were a thing and we inevitably taught them cusses. I'll be sharing each week's playlist here in the show notes, so you can listen again at your leisure.
