I'd like to take a chance to invite you all to the new MSP-Waves radio show, Steemit Musicians where @isaria and myself with be co hosting together.
I am thrilled to be co hosting the show with @isaria, a long term open mic entrant herself and a very talented musician in her own rights - not to mention Minnow Support - Peace Abundance and Liberty moderator, with a focus on developing the music community there.
During the new show we will feature the previous weeks, open mic judges top five selections and honourable mentions from @soundlegion, @verbal-d and myself.
We will be playing all the chosen songs to our live audience, the best part is that we also get to give away an additional 20 SBD to one entry that will be chosen by the live audience - I am thrilled to be able to offer an additional prize to our very deserving and talented entrants.
The goal of the show is to present the very best of our Open Mic entries to a new audience and hopefully help new musicians and steemians break ground on the platform and gain some new appreciative followers.
Our first show airs in only six and a half hours so I'd like to encourage, not only Open mic entrants but all steemians who enjoy good music to drop by MSP-Waves and hear what Steemit Open Mic entrants have to offer!
I am very excited to get to further share these amazing talents to the Peace Abundance and Liberty community and hopefully expose listeners to musicians they would love to hear and support.

This sound like an interesting concept for a show and I'd be honored if you accepted my offer to help promote it.
I'm currently making animated videos to promote steem contests outside of steem for free (I announced the offer here) and I found your post because it has a contest component to it. But I'll be more than happy to make an animated promo video that fits with what you are doing specifically and it we wouldn't have to concentrate on the contest part. We can make a video that tell musicians how great a platform steemit is for musicians and about how your show can showcase them.

That's a nice video. It looks like you targeted it more towards people that know at least a bit about STEEM while what I have in mind is trying to attract musicians that haven't heard about the platform yet and presenting them with the contests and promotion opportunities as a good benefit to join.

Firstly I do listen to each and every performance every single week, secondly I have no intention of quitting being a judge its an honour and a privilege.

Hope you are doing better. Just wanted to say that with the amount of entries we have each week, it is impossible to comment on more than a couple of handful of entries, and that is being generous since judging and listening and evaluating our lists can be quite time consuming as open mic continues to grow. As judges we aren't required to comment but it is just an extra if we can manage to do so.
@krystle is a musician, she can sing well and has a natural voice.

You have given us many original entries, and you will always be welcome to participate
Sometimes, people don't comment because the song didn't speak to them or they have nothing to say about the song, and there is nothing wrong with that. I hear songs all the time and don't feel compelled to comment on some of them because they didn't resonate with me. That's normal, nothing aggressive or biased about that at all.
I have released countless of original songs as well, and frankly, the feedback I get from the community often for some of my best material (my own opinion of course) is not much, but I release music to make a positive impact, and stay humble, cause I know that not everyone likes my music.
My advice if you would like to know it is to just keep creating, keep sharing, and try not to take everything to heart if someone doesn't comment on your amazing song. Take it easy on @krystle, because she is definitely a great judge, and does her best each week and that's all we can ask for, cause when she is not judging for the open mic, she is leading the minnows and being a positive role model and influence in our Steemit Community with her highly praised and generous husband @ausbitbank, and she is a 24/7 nonstop, wonderful mom to two disabled, yet still beautiful children. Hope that clears everything up. Thanks for reading my response, I say all this with the upmost respect and care to mediate between you both.
