#whatsup post, No Pump For You, is his perspective of short term possibilities in crypto.
I agree with his summation completely.
You had better be long, or sell now if you can't bear any more looses. I personally will not be coaxed, cajoled, or run out of crypto like some low rent tenant, with my tail between my legs.
My plan is to go the entire 15 rounds, just like the Ali--Frazier fights did.
March 8, 1971: 15 rounds
January 24, 1974, 15 rounds
October 1, 1975, 15 rounds
I do not think we need to ask ourselves any longer, if we have the stomach for this. If you're still around, like myself, then obviously you do.
The question to ask yourself now is, can I take the blows.
The two men mentioned above refused to go down out of stubbornness, competitiveness, and a huge dose of pride.
I totally understand that each one of us have different circumstances which govern our ability to take a hit.
When to fold is a very personal thing and only as individuals can we make the decision that is right for us.
My wish for those feeling like they maybe on the mat, is to pull a Cassius Marcellus Clay Jr., better known as Muhammad Ali/Joe Frazier routine and get up one more time.
When this whole blockchain revolution becomes a way of life, I will not be looking up from the mat!!
This situation comes as no surprise to me. Several months ago my son @ryan313 told me that there was a chance of BTC tracing back to $1,500. Simultaneously we said, great opportunity to buy. My son has been in this for longer than most and does a great job keeping those that follow him in tune to the crypto market. Graphing and charting is his thing,
and the service he provides through hours upon hours of work are there for the taking. HE IS MY GO TO GUY.
Great stuff, I agree with your attitude toward crypto, nothing in this space is guaranteed, but I believe in this technology so I'm sticking around, mostly thanks to Steem existing. If it wasn't for being involved with Steem maybe I wouldn't be as optimistic. But the fact that anyone can start earning money this easily keeps me believing. No matter what as long as the blockchain and websites exist, I can earn SOMETHING. Patience seems crucial as well.

Howdy sir bigsweed! I agree that cryptos are here to stay, I just wish I knew if Steem was going to be one of the survivors. But I think it will be.

Good morning janton, @thebigsweed. Hope ya’all don’t mind me hopping in on this one — Happy Sunday!
Crypto, yes, of course crypto is the way. Nobody knew how to react when the air containers at the bank were dismissed for the atm’s Which, by the way, paper to plastic was a mind game in itself. I’m sure I’m not the only one who knows this, but this year alone, here in America it’s become a problem exchanging a $100 bill. I, personally, am well diversified with a fair share of weight leaning toward XMR, EOS, BCH and LTC, not necessarily in that order. But, today, I’m having a tough time exchanging $50’s. This is a true story, just on Friday night my wife and I had dinner in Orange County, Ca at a joint called Healthy Junk. It took me a minute to realize the owner literally does not want a $50 in the register. Our bill was $43 and I couldn’t pay with a $50. I didn’t have any $20’s on me so I had to pay with my debit card.
Steem, sure! Steemit, I’m not so sure. 🤔
Fact: I can’t get any new followers. I think I got 4 in one week recently, that’s a new record.
Fact: look at top posts, trending, not trending, any ol’ surf and you especially, @thebigsweed, are probably learning your reputation is amongst the bottom. I worked hard for over a year to get to a 57 rep and it seems I’m back at the bottom again competing with 60’s and above.
Fact: Put up some money and you can participate.
Fact: Without banking your wallet (or someone delegating to you), you can’t participate.
Fact: I haven’t followed someone with a 30 rep or below in I don’t know how long. Possibly because my feeds are full of 60’s and above or they’re just not willing to pay to play, therefore I haven’t met a 30 or below.
And then when some guy named Craig Wright proved he can hit a toilet from the living room by flexing his $30B worth of weight across the entire crypto market was another eye opener. Why am I worried about 57 reps and a thousand SP when 1 guy controls, at minimum $30 billion of the market?!
“Steem, sure! Steemit, I’m not sure sure 😉

Eye opening and a little depressing. I have not been at this very long and find it quit difficult to make any inroads. I spend at least two hours every morning reading and commenting to try and establish relationships. I have been instructed to do just this to gain a foot hold, and possible get some of those at the top to follow. Occasionally I will get an up-vote from them with no comment, but even this doesn't happen with any regularity. I'm a glass half full kind of guy and can only hope for the best. In the meanwhile, until all of this plays out, I will continue to enjoy the content posted by the others that I follow and follow me.
As far as cash being king, that is also going south. The gvt. would like too see this happen sooner than later, that way the destination of every penny can be traced and Uncle Sam can determined if taxes were paid on all transactions.
I'm very surprised that a cash business like an eatery would not want to put as much cash as possible into their register. Back in the day cash businesses would be able to hide much of their cash receipts.

And I agree, that’s a great idea! The reality is, that exact method, this time last year would net you a few followers. Sweed, this time last year I would gather 10 followers just by clicking the post button <— not an exaggeration.
Oh don’t worry, you and me both! I ain’t goin anywhere, in fact, I don’t have an issue continuing to pick up Steem. I have faith in this platform and this is the first time in my life I’ve chosen to share my life.. so I choose Steemit and I choose to stay entertained by following who I’m following (like you said).
I’m becoming less and less surprised about businesses rejecting fiat. Maybe it’s a California thing but it’s deifnyely a thing. I wrote an article about what I heard recently inside a Bank Of America, rather than repeat myself I’ll link it for you. It’s way beyond generating, but give it a read if you ha e a minute, I was shocked to learn a car dealership won’t accept fiat.
(I had to do some serious mining to dig up this old 4 month post)

I am flabbergasted by this experience you had while doing what should have been a simple transaction. Feeling like you were in the Twilight-zone is exactly where you were.

We need to take extra precautions in every move we make. The powers too be are trying to keep as many eyes on us as possible. What would they do with out their Golden Geese.
thanks for taking the time to find this post.

Howdy sir bigsweed! I haven't gotten to the post that dandays sent but I'm looking forward to it. The new rc system killed growth here and so it takes more time to build your account but you have a good plan and will build, just takes longer but almost all of us are having a harder time building since the rc system was put in place.
As far as the cash situation I'm shocked about the businesses not taking cash because my wife and I were talking about how here in Texas it's much easier to use large bills than it used to be, it used to be hard to give a $100 bill but now everyone takes them gladly! It's like the hundred is the new 20. So that is a little alarming and we will continue to plan for them to stop taking cash but right now we literally pay for everything except our mail in bills with cash and never any problems.
What is it like in New York? I wonder what all those Amish are going to do since they deal in cash and don't like electronics?

No problem in NY spending cash either, just ask my wife.😃😃😃 The new $20 is the $100, because that is about what it gets you, $20 worth of merchandise'
The question of what the heck will the Amish do is a great question. In the area we live, the Amish are quite prevalent.
On most days if you are out and about you have to share the road with their horse drawn carriages. There are many street signs advising you of their activity on the roadways.
Every year I buy my corn from them as it is grown organically.

yes sir bigsweed I love the Amish, we had a very large settlement, actually many settlements in Ohio, at the time they said they were the biggest in the country, I've done a couple of posts on the Amish to and we worked with them in our real estate business in Ohio but in doing research for my last post about them I found out that Upstate New York had the fastest growing settlements being established up there so I thought you'd probably run into them.
We were so spoiled with our food supply up there in Ohio because we went to a health food store that had Amish everything from meats, eggs, produce, all organic of course and really well priced.

I like reading your posts, just for the simple honest-living view really. I was living in California, and just about to move back to the UK in 2006. I had liquidated an asset to pay for airfare and wanted to put $2000 cash into my BofA account I'd had for about 15 years. So I presented my VISA debit card, current UK passport and the cash, and was told they needed to check I was not on some terrorist list. About 48 hours later they deigned to clear the money. I really like crypto these days. 😊

There are a lot of reasons to like crypto, but one of the biggest reasons for me getting involved with crypto was being able to fly under the radar, avoiding the governments constant hand in my pocket. All of the new regulations and the like are putting a kibosh on this particular facet of crypto!
Thanks for the up-vote and reply.
Always appreciated! Always humbled!
