Green Lake of Lanzarote

I took this photo in Lanzarote (Canary Islands), near El Golfo.
The place (called Charco de Los Clicos) in its current shape is the result of the eruption of the volcano Timanfaya, in the eighteenth century.
Alongside the volcanic, red and black rocks, opens this amazing Green Lake, which shall receive, so underground, the waters of the nearby Atlantic Ocean; thanks to seaweed and marine plant organisms on its surface, has this characteristic intense green color.
A magical place that is protected today is part of a nature reserve.

really cool composition, it also works very well with the green water against the colorless landscape.
