finally gaining some healthy weight

Throughout my life i have always been the "skinny guy" no matter how much i worked out or protein i ingested, including protein from meats pasta and other healthy foods i could never seem to put on any weight.

this was me two years ago at around 140 pounds

At one point in my lifting career i was eating at least 5,000 calories a day along with 150g of protein, for those of you that don't count calories that's a hell of a lot. My grocery bill was at least two hundred dollars every other week not including supplements.

Now that i am a little older and a lot wiser about how to gain healthy weight and keep it on i have been doing research about how i can make it easier for myself to gain weight , i also suppose this might help someone else put on some of the weight they need also.

The very first thing i needed to change was my workout regime, i had to cut out cardio completely even though some days i really really wanted to go on a run with my dog or jump rope. Cardio has been proven to inhibit muscle growth in some test subjects and for my that proved to be true with my mesomorph body type.

Now that i had found my correct body type i needed to incorporate the workouts and diet that would work for me. So i started on a stack of supplements that i researched and tested a few times before continually taking them.

i had taken a test booster before with little to no results so i decided to step it up a little and start taking test 1700 by amp

Now even though the supplements did help inhibit my muscle growth the main thing i changes was my diet, i started doing intermitten fasting, i wake up have a small breakfast, workout and then eat a full meal around 2pm. After that i tend to eat about four to five more meals throughout the day a long with a protein shake or two.

Not only have i grown and packed on about 14 lbs of muscle i also have more confidence then i've ever had before. My lifts are stronger and my form had improved drastically. I can finally look in the mirror and like what i see instead of just skin and bones.
