As of ~40 minutes ago, I finally got my Muse witness server up and running!
TL;DR (Added on August 20, 2017)
If you don't want to read the whole declaration, here is a TL;DR summary:
- I am a developer and a musician
- I can translate to Greek
- I'm ready to jump on the wagon and help build stuff on/for Muse
Why witness the Muse Blockchain? And why should you vote for me?
Being a musician myself, and also against the way the music industry currently works, I believe that the Muse network can make a difference. It will be a long road before this, but it has to start somehow, right?
Also, being a developer, I love to support projects like this, and I set my witness up on the test network.
Found a bug!
The production network went online last night. I missed the official launch of the network because it got really late and I had to attend some personal matters today in the morning. My witness node had a problem and I reinstalled the whole server from the beginning (format, install OS etc). When setting up my server, and got to the point to run "update_witness" on my muse cli_wallet, I discovered that since I was already logged in, I had to log out and relog-in to get the proper active key for the production network.
And it only took me 2 hours to realise that! Also, I don't know if someone else reported this to the MUSE slack, didn't find anything

The server I rent for the Muse blockchain witness is the same with the Steemit witness server I have.
