Very soon you will be able to own a piece of the Stone with Fillosopher's Tokin's.
Why Would I want a worthless Token?
I want to make a token that will track the value of my steemit account, to add future value to the token as I try to go from minnow to whale. If my value as an artist increases, so does the token.
At the inception of the Tokin, Steemit users will be able to collect tokin's in competitions and giveaways, until more value is in the tokin' and more uses are discovered. So to begin with, these tokens are worthless, but I believe this idea is priceless.
My Tokin's can possibly be used to purchase high quality, and limited edition digital artworks, music and merchandise from me or selected services. They can maybe even grant you access to exclusive Live Stream areas for my music production, and who knows what else. The possibilities with these services for independent artists are yet to be fully realised.
Or if you have had enough Tokin', you can just pass em' back for Bitshares.
This way, even if you don't like an artist's work, but can still see their potential, you can still benefit by sharing exposure to those who might like it and actually want to pay for it, in turn increasing the value of an artist.
This gives fans, token holders and curators even more incentive to share work. Because the more tokens they hold, and the more the artist's value increases by exposure to the right audience, Then more money for the artist and value for the token holder/curator. I like to think of it as a win-mill.
Ready To Rock n Troll!
These are just some of the pieces of this puzzle that I am trying to put together for you all.
- Set Up Live Streaming, 80% complete.
- .COM Website, 50% complete.
- Link other social media, 30% complete.
- Release music tracks, 2 released.
- Psychedelic videos, 1 released.
- Build my secret weapon, 10% complete.
I know there is a lot to be done still, but I hope to share this whole process with you, to make it as enjoyable for everyone in the future. I also may need some assistance from my favourite Steemians to help me keep up with this idea. I can pay you with Tokin's if you like.
Then all that is left to do is to tie them all together into one big game so people can play along. It is a working progress and the inspiration never stops, so there will be plenty more to come soon.
This is just a concept while I continue to figure it all out, so if you find this interesting or a little too confusing, more details will be coming soon.
Until then please spread the mystery of the Fillosopher Stoned, and get in early to start Tokin' up my stash.
MUSE and PeerTracks
The upcoming PeerTracks platform looks to be the perfect solution to the problems of payment in the music industry of the past. The first video demonstrates the potential from an artists perspective.
This video hints at how tokens can be used from a fans point of view, and shows you why I want to get in early and start tokin', and why you might want your own token too.
PeerTracks is a platform for music streaming, music retail, talent discovery and fan engagement that leverages the use of blockchain technology.
Artists create their own cryptographic tokens, called Notes, that fluctuate in value based on the artist's popularity/success. Notes allow crowdfunding, P2P talent discovery, two-way interaction between superstars and their Noteholders, and advertisers to target to known spenders and superfans.
Notes align the incentives of both artist and fans, turning passive listeners into active promoters - insuring their music is heard/streamed, sold and their merchandise and concert tickets sold out.
Our blockchain - MUSE - is set to be the one open, global, transparent music rights database and its automatic royalty payment splitter enables all copyright holders to be paid out instantly.

One global copyright database
A single location to input all of your copyright information. Where every participant in a song (both the master recording side and the composition/publishing side) can build off of the data, creating a rich, transparent, trustworthy and constantly updating database. Businesses worldwide, from streaming platforms to music retail websites, will know exactly which copyright holders to pay (in real time!) by using the open data contained within Muse. Solving what we call the “Who to pay?” issue currently plaguing the music world.Owned by musicians
Unlike other attempts at creating a database that keeps track of worldwide copyrights, the Muse Blockchain is not proprietary. It is an automated, globally distributed Peer-to-Peer network that isn’t under the control of any single individual person, corporation or government. Considered ownerless, Muse “belongs” to all its members (mostly musicians!) and is open for all to join. The means of payment
Once it is known who needs to be paid for a piece of content, funds can travel through Muse directly and instantly to the copyright holders – Solving the “How to pay” issue. No one needs to collect royalties on behalf of the copyright holder (taking a fee along the way), a process that can often take months and is severely lacking in transparency. Recipients on Muse get paid directly, at the same speed it takes to receive an email – all without anyone taking a cut or charging transaction fees.Automatic royalty payment split
Each song entry in the Muse database holds the information required to pay out the correct royalty recipients, whether they are individuals, corporations or royalty collection organizations. Incoming funds are instantly and automatically divided as instructed.Simplified licensing
Having one central place to clear and pay for the right to use a song will greatly reduce the complexity of, and remove barriers for, licensees to purchase said rights. All of which greatly increases the revenue for licensors.Royalties paid from Muse directly
Streaming platforms that have been voted in by Muse’s members get special privileges: Muse takes care of paying out royalties! Elected platforms publish usage data to Muse, allowing Muse to know exactly how many times each song was played and exactly how much in royalties each right holder is to be sent. In exchange for getting streaming platforms to act in a fully transparent manner (publishing their data on a permanent, immutable open/public database) and allowing for direct, instant payment of royalties, they get their main expense subsidized. The Muse system rewards good behavior. Think carrot, not stick.

For now this is just a Pipe Dream, and changes will likely be made in the future as I work out how to make this beneficial for everyone involved, and I prepare to release more music to get ready for these platforms. So any advise or suggestions you have is welcomed.
I know I could just make this happen using fiat, but it will be more fun this way. Together we can show the world what is possible with this new economy and blockchain technology. I believe this could potentially allow everyone the chance to pursue their true passions in life, and get paid for it.
If this gives you ideas for your mission, or you would like to support me on my quest for the stone, please upvote and resteem.
Thanks to everyone I have met on Discord and @whaleshares for your help so far and for having great information there for people like me to find. If you would like to know about beyondbitcoin and how to make tokens, just follow the links.
Nice idea, @the-fillosopher! I like the idea that these can be used to purchase art works and such from you. Best of luck with this! I hope it takes off. :)
