Everything happens for good: Mushfiqur

Like the other senior members, Tigers Test skipper Mushfiqur Rahim informed that he was shocked at the resignation of head coach Chandika Hathurusingha. But the wicketkeeper-batsman, who had a bitter-sweet relationship with the Sri Lankan, gave a piece of his mind when he said: "Whatever the almighty has done, it is for good."
Mushfiqur was speaking to reporters after his side Rajshahi Kings' defeat to Comilla Victorians in the Bangladesh Premier League at the Sher-e-Bangla National stadium yesterday.

"I don't know about the decision but like everyone I'm also shocked as we worked together in the last series. The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) is looking into the matter and we are only focusing on the BPL at the moment. I hope everything will be fine and if that does not happen it's between the coach and the board. I had no idea when it [resignation] happened despite being together throughout the South Africa tour. Whatever happens, Allah will do good for us. And we have a series after the BPL so it's better if everything happens quickly," said Mushfiqur.

It was confirmed in the past week that Hathurusingha had tendered his resignation during Bangladesh's tour South Africa where they lost all their games. The are murmurs that the bitter relations between the senior players and the coach was one of the reasons for his resignation. But when asked Mushfiqur said: "I think it's an individual's personal matter. If he was not happy with any specific player, that's different. But as I said before it's still not clear why he resigned and he did not brief us about the issue yet. Until he arrives and talks we won't know the actual reason."
