Polyporus giganteus

in mushroom •  7 years ago  (edited)

Dear all steemians,
Mushrooms not belonging to the plant species, the fungus is an eukaryotic organism. Its body structure consists of unicellular or single celled and multicellular or multicellular. The fungus cell wall consists of chitin, not cellulose as it is in plant cells. And the fungus does not have a chloroplast so the fungus has hetetotrof properties.

Mushrooms can produce food from organic or dead material, by way of life in parasites, symbiotic, and saprofit. They live in a place rich organic matter, damp, and lacking light.
