Time Is Flowing Like A River! Inspired By The Alan Parsons Project , Pop Act from The Early 80's.

"TIME".......It's a wonderful classic song from my youth .....I remembered, while I was walking down this river in Lienz, Tirol as I already told you in my previous article about my trip.  

Some of the younger generation might not know those songs, so I thought I introduce them today because the lyrics are timeless.

Let me tell you a little bit about Music History today. 

The late Eric Woolfson who died at age 64 from cancer, was a founding member & songwriter for The Alan Parsons Project.

Ten Alan Parsons Project albums were released and achieved combined sales of more than 40m copies. In 1990 Woolfson successfully relaunched himself as a composer of stage musicals; his latest production, a show based on the life and work of Edgar Allan Poe, received its stage premiere in Berlin 2009. In 1976 an Album was released as Tales of Mystery and Imagination.- Source The Guardian

Where Are They Now? 1982's Biggest Pop Acts

Alan Parsons worked as an engineer on some of rock's greatest albums, including Pink Floyd's The Dark Side Of the Moon and the Beatles' Abbey Roadand Let It Be. In 1975, he decided to start making his own music and formed The Alan Parsons Project with singer Eric Woolfson. They had some minor prog-rock hits in the late 1970s, but they didn't really hit paydirt until 1982, when "Eye In The Sky" blew up in America. The song was actually sung by Woolfson, not Parsons, but most people just assumed it was Parsons because the band is named after him. (Carlos Santana has pulled a similar trick throughout his whole career.) Unable to repeat the success of "Eye In The Sky," the duo split in 1990. - Source from The Rolling Stones Article
