Updated my DAW

in music •  5 years ago

As some of you might have seen on the last blog, i overhauled my home studio / rehearsing room. The entire thing was initially triggered when my Studio PC died. Along the way i decided to update my DAW (Cubase) too, as i was still working on version 6.

After installing my standard software, and the new Cubase, i started to setup my plug ins. As they aren't that few, it took quite some time, only to figure out 32 Bit Plug ins are no longer supported :(

I started looking around what's on the market, to get at least a few basic effects i need back, and stumbled over the Abbey Road Chambers Reverb. It did go for just 29€ and had some good reviews, so i went for it, and i have to admit, that's a fair amount of value you get for the money!

The title track to my coming EP 'Handpicked by the night' will already utilize one of the chambers :)

Have a wonderful day Folks, and stay safe!
