Funky Friday, Jam Time! "Overnight Express" Original Double Neck Guitar/Bass Jam 🎸

in music •  7 years ago

The loop on this one made me think of the chugging of a train. As it develops it gets more intense and makes me feel like I'm flying towards my destination. I hope you dig the vibe, tell me what you think in the comments!

"Overnight Express" - Like all my guitar jams, it's 100% improvised

I painted all the art in the background too, I invite you to visit my website https://www.NexusVisions.com/art for more! -Adam

God I miss my Boss Looper. Should have never sold it.
Great to hear you man - artists through and through

I had the smaller RC-30 for years and never really played with it, then I left it with my ex in Costa Rica when I moved back to Canada and could only pack so much lol I finally got a new one and learned how to use it properly and now the ONLY thing I MIGHT sell it for is a Ditto X4 looper. I wish the Boss looper had a "decay" knob so you could let loops fade out slowly into the background while still building new ones, to make epic 30-40+ minute evolving jams lol Hopefully the next generation will and I can trade up!

Guess by this point I am so deep into audio engineering that I would just build a hobby looper here, using some Line 6 footpedal with USB and Bitwig Studio.
It's just so cool to have a hardware tool for it, allowing me to sit on my bed instead of in front of the computer. Your vid makes me wanna play more, cheers <3

I never really made music on a computer, I had Fruity Loops for a while like 20 years ago lol I didn't have the patience to make music that way, it felt like doing math homework or something. Thinking back on it now that I paint, I'd probably look t it more like painting - and I MIGHT even have the patience to finish a track lol

I feel ya man. It's been a rough journey for me, having the love for music but the despair of plowing through all these nerd tools. Looks like math for sure.
I feel the same way about art - drawing on my experiences from making music. I know that persistence pays off and that no world class image is to be epxted in the beginning. Will probably dabble with visual art in the next years once I finally get my first psy EP done. <3

Nice one man, lots of energy!

Thanks man!
