I believe, every person has heard at list one song in his/her life. Furthermore, a lot of people listen to music every day, beginning with their alarm clock ending with the evening in opera. It's great that now we have a possibility to listen to music every suitable minute. In my opinion we start to love it early in the childhood when we are listening to lullabies. The acquaintance with it continues at school.
The question is "How to organise an interesting and useful music lesson?"
I think that the lesson should start with a brief introduction of the author, because with its help pupils will be able to understand the music better. But it should be really brief for children not to get bored. Next step is playing the whole song (composition) by a teacher. And then every child will have a few minutes to play him/herself with the teacher's help. If they like the song, they can learn it by heart at home and sing together at the next lesson.
It's important to choose different genres. From the oldest classical music to the most modern pop, etc. This way every pupil can find favorite one and love music lessons. The more instruments music classroom has, the better. This way every child can find talent and start to develop it.
I hope there will be a lot of schools with developed equipment and classrooms for every lesson to be ideal.
