I wrote this song a few years ago when I was feeling quite existential toward what I saw to be the quickly approaching, inevitable end of a relationship. The song itself came out well and I like it a lot. The relationship, well I pretty much called that.
I quit writing and singing shortly after 'Time' was written because the pressure I was putting on myself was too much. I routinely criticized myself and what I saw to be flaws "why don't you write a bridge! People need BRIDGES!". I was unaware, at the time, that perfectionism was to blame for my constant anxiety and fear of performing in public.
I really like visiting the page of submissions to the Open Mic contests on steemit and will enter one soon (as suggested by @beanz a couple of weeks ago in reply to my introduction post).

You really needed to break that 200 vote mark, I'm glad I could do that even if it's a little late to add to the 24 hour pot. This is beautiful, I love acoustic guitar. My brother is a musician and I've been posting songs of his as I'm trying to recruit him to steemit. I've met many lovely people in the music community here because of it.
