On the road again, this time with Masasolo - a danish indie/psych band started by Morten Søgaard. Listen to Really Thought She Loved Me here for a sense of the band:
The band was playing in France, in Clermont Ferrand and La Rochelle, which made for a weekend round trip of driving on french highways, eating oysters and drinking wine.
In Clermont we played at a venue with a very institutional feel, like we're used to in Denmark, but in La Rochelle we played the more unusual medieval fortress from 1390 overlooking the Atlantic called Tour de la Chaîne. Beautiful place, but a terrible venue for indie rock as one can imagine a medieval stone tower might be.
We also managed to swing by the Palace of Versailles on the way back to Paris for a quick fix of culture.

Joining Masasolo for the 2 night were Super Besse from Belarus and Vurro from Spain. Super Besse is post-punk from Minsk, and is 2 guys on bass and guitar and some backtrack. Vurro is - well - you'll have to see for yourself.
