Forest Swords otherwise known as Matthew Barnes is a UK based musician who you should definitely listen to. His music is fresh and original and heavily inspired by the visual arts.

His most recent release is called Compassion and can be heard/downloaded on his website: http://www.forestswords.co.uk/

The music videos are beautifully artistic, highly unique and a perfect compliment to the music:

Barnes has also participated in some interesting music presentations for example an art installation called Ground Rhythms where he created three peices of sound art printed on x-rays and played them on turntables.

"The pieces were inspired by three architectural sites from Merseyside history which no longer exist, and the tracks on the brittle X-ray pressings were designed to be played once only before degrading, never to be played again" source: mercyonline

Barnes previous releases are also well worth a listen and create a beautiful atmosphere and will delight your ears with many auditory orgasms ;)
