Chronicles of Alan: Bohemian Closes, End of an Era!

The Bohemian Club Finally shut its Doors at the End of July 2017! Very Sad for Me Personally, I had planned to Record and put a Band together for the host of songs I have written through the years , of which very few have been performed, and , of course, I wished to kick it off at The Bohemian.

Best laid Plans of Mice and Men!

This was a place dedicated to displaying and supporting South African Music

The last 2 Acts to play there were the Bad Ass Execs

and Stasis Band.on Sunday the 30th , I recorded the Show Aurally in Stereo, and will Post them when I am Happy with the Mix.

Unfortunately there are no Youtube Videos on these Bands.

On the 22nd of July there was a Launch Party for Mad God's , Tales of a Sightless City CD.

ably backed by Corax and Goat Throne

Corax at Buck n Hog where on Occasion I have supplied and done the Sound.

For those not into Metal here is a far more relaxing act.

Them Dirty Shrikes are from Pretoria and performed at the Bohemian the week before!

A Particularly Bad Strain of Flu hit South Africa in July and the Last acts I Booked for the Final Weekend were all somewhat Decimated and were forced to cancel.

I had been particularly looking Forward to Seeing "No Quarter"" an extremely talented Cover Band ( one of the first Cover Bands we ever Featured )

Sad to see that the Bohemian Club will be closing down.
So many legends of the past abruptly being stopped playing.
Snake Hands looks so good and that video is amazing.

Why that club was closed? Oh love those musics and it effected on us too! Otherwise we had a chance to listen few great concerts freely! Lost that chance :/
Anyway great work you are doing my dear friend! Most of shared musics I never heard before! So, it might be very interesting thing to me!
