If you know your DJ has been working at your bar longer than you have, don't come up to him or her and ask to change the feel.
The DJ understands your crowd better than you do, the DJ will switch the vibe up on their own because their job depends on it.
It's kind of a do or do not thing, either the DJ can cut it or they need to go, they don't need coaching from you especially when you're the fresher face at the bar.
Some post night talking to isn't a bad idea, but don't go on a power trip especially on something that isn't just music, its group psychology.
