I am a music lover. I breathe music, i sleep with music and i literally wake up with music. I got this from my dad. That man listens to music like its no man business. Music is a very essential part of life, i think we wouldn't do much without music. Music is life as many would say. Music has always been a part of my life and of you asked me to describe my life in words, i would do so poorly. But ask me to use songs to describe my life, i would do it in the blink of an eye. So, today, I'll share with you 10 songs that perfectly talk about me. ( I guess i should do this about books too). Here we go;

1. Nina Simone 'Blackbird'

   Nina is my favourite female voice from the 60s and 70s. She had this voice so strong that it went straight to your soul. Blackbird talks about the struggle of a black man back in the 60s in America. The blackbird wants to fly but there are so many obstacles that want to keep holding it back. There are many times my I've come to this point where i want to do a lot, but my personal struggles keep holding me back. Its basically feeling like i have one wing or none at all.

2. Frank Sinatra 'My Way'

   Frank is my favourite musician of all time. Frank's voice is like hearing the angels sing (i love him that much). Written in 1969 Frank's my way tells you about a man who was happy with how his life played out. That's who i am, at the end of the day, my life was worth it. I like to think;
   "I've lived a life that's full
   I've traveled each and every highway
   But more, much more than this
   I did it my way". 😊

3. Amy Winehouse 'Wake Up Alone'

   Amy is the one artist i run to when i'm depressed. Her lyrics are able to convey how i feel when i can't put it in words. Her voice just soulfully reassures me.

4. Frank Sinatra 'Blue Moon'

   Frank's 1934 Blue Moon always takes me to the moon. Beautiful lyrics, perfect instruments, everything is just right for this song. This song stands for everything love in my life. One of the songs i'm definitely dancing to when i get married 😊😊

5. Michael Buble 'Save the Last Dance For Me'

   From the album It's Time, Buble stole my heart with this song. Reminds me of the time where all i wanted to be was a DJ and a wedding planner, lol. This song makes me a daydreamer. This song is for my parents, always reminds me of their funny love story. Momma really saved the last dance for him.
