Favorite Song Series - Boogie King - The Screamin Cheetah Wheelies

Here is another song in my Favorite Song Series, this one is Boogie King by The Screamin Cheetah Wheelies. This song gained popularity for being in the soundtrack for the movie "The Bride of Chucky", a horror movie featuring Chucky, an evil doll. TSCW formed in the early 1990s with Mike Farris (vocals), Rick White (guitar), Bob Watkins (guitar), Steve Burgess (bass guitar) and Terry Thomas (drums). They released their first album, >i>The Screamin Cheetah Wheelies in 1994 with Magnolia in 1996 and Big Wheel in 1998. Boogie King was on the Big Wheel album. They followed up with several live albums in the early 2000's and then one more studio album, Ten Miles High (2004)

I don't recall how I found out about this song, I may have head it on the radio back in the last 1990's. Another song I instantly feel in love with. I love the hard driving repetitive guitar and Mike Farris' vocals are pretty cool also.

The band broke up in the mid-2000's and Mike Farris continued his career as a solo artist. The unique name of the band came from the Gary Larsen Far Side comics.

Thanks for the listen, and allowing me to share my musical choices with you all. Rock on!
