"Try to be the King but the Ace is back!"

Dr. Dre, the legend. An icon in my city of Los Angeles, and the greatest producer to ever hit a set of black and white keys. From age 5 and on, Dre. has influenced my life with his melodies and never let up. How is it possible that a man can create such a wide range of emotion yet still keep his signature sound? He's a genius, that's how! I am not COMPLEX magazine or some idiotic periodical with intent to make a list for views, I'm giving you the real.... If you want a solid half hour of jam time, come on in!

#3: 'Bad Intentions'

This song comes from 'The Wash' Soundtrack, a music and film collaboration between Compton buddies Dre and Snoop. This song uses flutes and drums like you've never heard...a culmination of the 90s entering the new millenia. With a few solid verses from Dre accompanied by a solid chorus, this is one of his best productions of all time!

#2: 'Xxplosive'

This could easily be number one, not only for Dre, but for all West Coast productions ever! The initial blend of synth with Nate Doggs, Daz and Kurupt's smooth lyrics make this one of the best hip hop tracks of all time. This beat is legendary for those who don't even know hip-hop, just kick back and let me remind you...

#1: 'Heat'

This album made my childhood, and 50 Cent represents a real piece of hip hop history that will never be lost. 'Get Rich or Die Tryin' is one of the most sophisticated hip hop albums of all time, it's catchy melodic appeal and global radio play showed that more than the ghettos of America can appreciate gangster rap. This beat is so genius with the use of shotgun pumps as the bassline, it is a hardcore track but melodic and brilliant all the same.. This song wouldn't ever play on a radio today, but we can remember the good ol' days.
