On my way to NAMM.

Since I missed my connecting flight to Los Angeles, I now have some time before my next flight. So why not make a blog post and keep my steemit followers up to date? I flew out of Peoria this morning, arrived in Minneapolis a little on the late side, tried to sprint carrying luggage, and missed my flight. The airline was kind enough to rebook my flight, so now I have about an hour to kill.

This will be my second year to attend NAMM (National Association of Music Merchants) and see all the fantastic new gear releases from my favorite manufacturers. The guitarist in me will go to the Fender booth and visit a friend of mine who works at Fender. I’ll be looking there, Kiesel guitars, Ibanez and many others. I’m a sucker for weird and interesting tools and toys that will make music, so I’ll hit some of the more unique booths. And of course, synths! I’ll be really interested in seeing the new offerings from Korg, Arturia and Novation. I’m looking forward to seeing many friends that I made last year and will be passing out many business cards to the vendors, in hopes that I can develop a relationship with them and bring you all the latest reviews of their gear.

One of the best parts of traveling is, I am able to work on new music while flying. I had started demos for some new Synthwave tracks in Korg Gadget on the iPad. If I can complete the track while on the flight to LA from Minneapolis, I’ll finish it up and post to Dtube/Dsound for your enjoyment.

Well, that’s enough out of me. Stay tuned for more posts and thank you in advance for the support steemit and its community is showing.
