In 2009, I went to Monza's Gods Of Metal Festival because there were several bands that I haven't seen before and couldn't loose the chance to see them live.
I saw Dio some years before Gods Of Metal but seeing him with this superband, Heaven & Hell was something great. I'll remember this concert for a couple of things: first of all, until that festival I hadn't seen Tony Iommi in concert. And it was something incredible. He is THE MAN, he is all and nothing on stage. He don't need to go running from side to side of the stage, he stays there, like a statue, but he is all about music, all about guitar riffs, he is omnipresent. And the second thing, of course, the festival was in 2009, so one year before Dio died. Dio will be in our hearts forever, he was one of a kind, and we loose a star, someone special. Being in this concert, just one year before of his death was an honour for me.
