After a year of subliminal shots thrown at each other, Drake & Tory Lanez squashed their beef publicly on an Instagram post 3 months ago. The deed was taken to another step and Drake invited Tory Lanez to perform this past Sunday at the annual OVO Fest. Earlier today on Instagram Tory Lanez posted a photo of them two on stage at the OVO Fest.
Toryz captions stated:
"Didn't get a chance to say it on stage but this moment was not only impactive to me , but it was BIG for the city of Toronto ... thank u champagnepapi for bringing me out at the fest but a BIGGER thank u for paving the way for artist like me to shine from this city ! Let's continue to put on for Toronto together YaDunKnowFomlayRespectZeen lol."
Tory has been making noise in Toronto with his music way before his debut album dropped and Drake has been a solid supporter of Toronto's music & Toronto for quite some time.
Clearly the two had beef at one point, but that is in the past now. It would be dope to hear a collaboration between the two Canadian artists in the near future.
