A little help for all beginner drummer!

in music •  6 years ago

Hey Stemians! How are you?... Do we have some drummers around here?

Today I’m back whit a new and simple post with me.

I want to share with you, some very "easy, short and essential" exercises for all drummer, who want to improve a little agility and speed in their hands.

I mean, I don't think I'm an expert drummer, but always I like to say that "in the music, as in life, you never stop learning" and there will always be someone we can learn something from.

All right, let's go with the exercises:

These are some exercises that in my opinion can help you improve the mobility and speed of your hands. To practice we must use a metronome, to maintain a constant time and to develop the sense of time.

The recommendation is always the same, it starts with a slow time and gradually raises the speed. We can start with a time of 50 or 60BPM and go up from "5 in 5" Time, (for example: 60-65-70... etc) as much as you can. The next time you practice use that "Top" time as a reference, and try to get over it.

If you want you can change and combine this exercises to not make it boring.

And that's it, to practice! Because in music, what will make you great, will be your desire to learn and improve more and more! Thanks for reading my post.
