[til] Today I Learned About Bernstein's First Time Conducting West Side Story

Hello everyone, for those of you who may or may or may not know, Leonard Bernstein is the original composer of West Side Story. So, I was surprised today to find a video recording of some of the takes of him conducting it with his own personal commentary dubbed over. I found this interesting because he stated it was his first time conducting West Side Story from beginning to end. (It's only 10 minutes though). Here is the video
