In this lesson made by PianoPig, he shows you 3 easy jazz chords that all jazz beginner piano players should know! They include a minor 11, a minor 7 flat 5, and an altered dominant.
If the chord names sound like nonsense to you don't worry because you don't really need to understand them to be able to play them.... learn the theory later!
With these 3 chords we can construct what is known as a 'minor II-V-I' and this sounds awesome! Practice the chords in different keys to get familiar with them and try to incorporate them into your own playing.
