Warm frost

original music with video

Notes

Video & photos taken with an iPhone 5 out my mesh kitchen window of the falling snow (negative.) I decided to improvise some minimalistic music to accompany it using my Yamaha Montage. Recorded in A = 432 hz at 111 bpm using a Rhodes patch in Kirnberger Eb tuning. Includes the background sound of the wind blowing. Check it out on @dtube below!

@d-pend - The inverted colors of the image ('causing the warm frost) and the music made me get goosebumps. The opening cords are very nice especially. Very cool blend of visual and the minimalistic music.

No post today from you, hope all well take care. This is a great post the mesh gives it a really interesting look and the music is awesome, are you on spotify or anything else ?

However what's special with this music is of course its strong link with emotion. Not only is there emotion in the music itself, such as major/minor chords or a story being told, but it well induced external emotions that were felt when i was listening to the same piece.

Great work again.. with achieve really good news ..as well your photography .. just too good ...

Right on @d-pend. I never thought you would get into video but this is very groovy. The mesh screen kept me wondering like many of your poems I have read. I saw the screen and thought the snow was a digital creation at first because the snow drops seemed to fall with the music. It was like I was seeing a visual representation of the music. They were together. Great and relaxing.

Such a beautiful video I love the sound of the wind in the background so smooth l it Daniel! We've got four inches so far! Happy snow day!!😊❤️

very nice video and music! upvote and follow you!
feel free to visit my blog with my art anf photos!

very unusual not to see a poem from you)
but in this case music and visualization is even more than enough.
Calm music provokes deep melancholic thoughts, and listeners fly away very far from reality during these music minutes. It's the case when any spectator becomes a poet and a writer by himself because his soul is creating something duting listening. It can't be words, just feelings, but who says that it's worse than classical poetry)

Haunting, atmospheric, trance-y, @d-pend ... The falling rain/shooting stars through the mesh give a feeling of hope... echoed by sense of anticipation that music creates.

You’re an artist, Daniel, and as a mentor of mine told me: all arts are connected, they are streets that lead to the same square.

Speaking of which, this post of yours reminded me of a video artist I’ve collaborated with over the years, Swoon: http://www.towerjournal.com/spring2011/yahia_lababidai_swoon.htm

Perhaps, you and I might also collaborate one day? I’d really like that!

Warmly, Yahia

This music gave me such a nostalgic feeling! For some reason it reminded me of all those old-school games on nintendo or sega, because the music was quite similar on those games :)

I love this @d-pend. The vibe of the music goes perfectly with the images. And 432 hz is my favorite.

Soooothing 😌😌😌😌😌
