Fallen Leaves

These guys have been making albums since the mid-90's up in Canada eh, but they really broke onto the scene, and through my ears drums with their '03 self titled release. It was a perfect addition to the early 2000's post hardcore Glory days. After that album, it gets hard to throw them into a single genre. They introduced everything from ska, to rock n roll in their later releases, none of which were disappointing. Always bringing a catchy hook, but never losing the heavy punk sound. Just this year they released another album entitled "Afraid of Heights" which exceeded my expectations. They have a huge catalog to explore, and a killer live show. If you're just discovering them, you have a lot to look forward to.

They do have a softer more melodic side they expose sometimes on a full moon. Like this one.

But this is the song that got me hooked when i was just 14. Still blasting in my car regularly.

Surprise Surprise

This band is far from unknown, but i share them with you because nobody I ask seems to be familiar.
I hope someone out there enjoys them as much as I have.
