Aloha steemians and welcome again to another one of my adventures. This time around I will be taking you all to the Sandakan Noise Fest 2018 which happen recently or to be precise last Sunday. The event was fully presented by Sandakan Underground and The Legacy Movement. Sandakan or also known as San Da Gen is the second largest city in Sabah if some of you don’t know where Sandakan is.

Me and @angeljames started our journey to Sandakan at 7 in the morning from Papar. The first pit-stop that we made was in Tamparuli to have our breakfast of Fried Tuaran noodles in a famous restaurant called Keng Swee Hing coffee shop. I have to tell you guys that they serve the best fried tuaran noodles and you all should have a try at it.

There was 2 event happening last weekend which one of them is an acoustic session and the other one is the gig itself. The acoustic session is held at Balin Rooftop on Saturday night and the band that playing on that night are Melzedex, Silversun, Suka Suki, and Manes. It was certainly an amazing night and I didn’t expect that there will be that plenty of crowds coming in to enjoy the show.

The main event happened on Sunday afternoon 2 pm up until 1130pm. The headline band for that night was a band from Kuala Lumpur called Sekumpulan Orang Gila or some people would call them SOG. There are 2 more bands coming from outside of Sabah and they are The Last Son flying all the way from Kedah, and HUHA all the way from Kuching, Sarawak. Meanwhile, representing Kota Kinabalu are Chugs on Deck, Wicked Gypsy, Markaz 69 and Melodychain. Deadbringer from Tawau and Gerodok from Lahad Datu also included in the rundown. The gig is in Sandakan and therefore, they also have their homeboys playing in that gig and the bands are The Paralysed, Roses for Maya, Silversun, The Mines, Domination 69, Dirty Shoes, TOG, and Flush Naives.

All of the bands and the crowds on that night are certainly awesome. Stay tuned for my next adventure as I will be uploading my vlog about the gig that happens on that day.
