On to weekend three, this day marks the half-way point of the season. This was another fairly short day, mostly because it was ridiculously cold...at least for Florida.

The Pride of Ireland

First up for us for the day was The Pride of Ireland. He performs in the Glorious Knothole Pub which is in the very back of the park from the gate. We didn't catch him every day but this is one of the days we did.

While watching the joust used to be one of my favorite things to do at a Renaissance Fair, I rarely do it now. I was kind of spoiled by the joust they do at the Hoggetowne Medieval Faire though...they really put on a great show there. Anyway, on this day we just stopped by for a minute as we were passing by.

Cu Dubh

It seemed that most days we saw Cu Dubh we only caught part of the show but on this day we saw a complete set.

The Jackdaws

Next up was the Jackdaws. They were doing an acoustic set on this day I think mostly because it had rained and they didn't have all the electrical equipment set up.

Randal Piper

Randal Piper was up next. Like most musicians at a renfair he plays a mix of traditional and original music. His original music is often used to tell stories, sometimes comical.

After that, it was time to go home and get warm.
