Hi everyone!!!!!
A new music streaming service has arrived in town to disrupt the decaying music industry, give artists a fair share in royalties and a new and fresh vision to make things better for artists listeners and the music industry in general.....
PEERTRACKS AND SOUNDAC
Peertracks is a music streaming platform that is conected to SOUNDAC. Soundac will try to replace the thousands of other musician databases and unify them into a single one using blockchain technology, here the artist will upload his catalog and no middleman would be involved (like those thousands of royalty collecting companies that slowdown the royalty payment processing) Once the artist music is uploaded anyone can retrieve instantly the information and so every time a music streaming platform like peertracks streams your music, it is instantly recorded in the blockchain and an instant payment is deposited in your wallet.....So no more cuts for the old greedy middleman and thus increasing the value of royalty payments creating a fairer system for artists.....
At the moment only Peertracks is linked to SOUNDAC but we have fresh information that some more are already integrating into this system....one of them being DSOUND for many of us that have used Steemit for a long time we know very well the fantastic work by @prc and his platform @dsound....so great news are on the way....Although there are many great platforms using blockchain technology out there at this moment that are trying to improve the music industry....SOUNDAC is a totally new approach in which the Central Database will allow by just uploading your track to have a shared metadata among all the platforms connected to it and easing the process of Royalty payment and putting the money back into artists hands.....
The platform although open for business still in its infancy and has a small number of bugs... as placing your record in the wrong category or the uploaded tracks out of order.....but this is counterbalanced by the fact that on the first day with only 8 streams 24 hours hours after the recorded stream became 0.50$ worth in RYLT tokens and this is only 8 streams....i am more than happy to be onboard and help to deal with those little bugs by informing the team, that it has been great and friendly during the entire sign up process and will probably take action soon... and will try to make this platform the place to go to for artists and fans alike....

HOW TO JOIN PEERTRACKS and SOUNDAC IN 5 easy steps
I will try not to go into deep and put it into easy steps as the old process is being improved now as the old process involved sending an excel sheet and now basically can be done without the hassle, although still needs to improve and they are working on it......
1 CREATE A WALLET IN SOUNDAC
Simple create your chosen username and password....
2 CONTACT [email protected] BY EMAIL
Inform them you are an artist and state you have created a wallet in SOUNDAC and would like an activation code for uploading your tracks information .
3 ENTER VERIFIACTION CODE ON MY SOUNDS
If the code doesn't work contact them again and they will reactivate it.....
4 ENTER YOUR TRACK on UPLOAD
Enter Upload on top right tab of your screen
you will arrive to this page:
Here upload your mp3 or wav file.......
Peertracks has managed to introduce a system to identify track ID, so if your tracks are up in major streaming services the process will be faster....(no more data to be added once is identified only release button and check if its part of an album....)......If it is identified it will ask you and let you choose so press the one and the check the metadata is correct and release (simple as that)
If your track isn't recognized it will take you straight to the 2 step after upload:
Upload your artwork (Make sure that your artwork is at least 700x700 pixels. Optimal resolution is 1200x1200 pixels.)
Enter the rest of the 4 easy pieces of information..... track name, artist name and label and make sure if it is part of an album to click on the slide bar and enter the name as other tracks will appear together once they are uploaded ....
There is also a small slide tab that says 'advance mode' here you can fill in more detailed information....
Then when this is finished you are done.....press release....and then wait for the track to be distributed to the streaming services conected to soundac (at this stage only peertracks is....but it seems that soon DSOUND known as the soundcloud of Steemit, will be part of it too...just waiting to hear the good news....
**5 ** ENJOY PEERTRACKS
Wait for confirmation or check Peertracks while you listen to some music by the huge hip-hop artist Snoop Dogg or legendary Guitar master Steve Vai......
yes you heard well.... they are both already in the platform and this may be just the beginning.....
or you can also listen to Peertracks radio....https://peertracks.live/ at this moment hosts people like DRAKE, ARIANA GRANDE or MAROON5.....
