Illmind Producer Posted a video that sparked some inspiration. Johnny decided he would accept the Blap Challenge and quickly began working on his own beats.
Day 3 was originally posted on Monday June 18th.
I asked Johnny how he came up with the names of his beats, his response mirrors his personality, simple and straight forward. "I just use the first word that pops into my head"
I decided to ask about his beat making process, being with him I notice he always needs a coffee. Studio work and coffee go hand in hand for him. I don't notice any rituals or routines though so I was curious.. For some people it is listening to music and finding inspiration for their new beat, not for John. He said "Making beats is what I do, I press record and hope it doesn't sound like ass"
This is my personal favourite Beat of the entire challenge thus far!!
