Happy Friday!
Many of you Hip-Hop heads are familiar with the self proclaimed boy band Brockhampton. This past year was certainty a breakout year for them, as they released three albums, Saturation I,II, and III. All of them are truly amazing and unique.
The band is currently based out of California, and has more than ten members. Notable members include Kevin Abstract, who is known for his catchy lyrics and flow, and Merlyn Wood who constantly delivers solid bars with his very recognizable voice.
The best thing about Brockhampton is the variety you get when listening to a record. It is common to come across trap-style beats and rap, singing, and even punkish screaming all within a few songs.
If you have not heard Brockhampton yet and were wondering where you should start, you really cannot go wrong. I will link some of my favorite tracks down below, and if you enjoy go support them by buying their records!
"Trip" is probably my favorite song by the group simply for its insanely catchy chorus.
"Zipper" is my favorite track off of Saturation III, you NEED to listen to this.
