Music and lyrics

Every generation seems to say the same thing about music, in my day it was more about good vocals/music and not about cussing and being vulgar. Well I was playing my 6 year old dsughter some music from the 80's and early 90's. Like Roxette, Fine young cannibals, Eurythmics and so on. This is here quote to me. "There is no cussing in that."
