Will the Cpop industry made a comeback?

I'm telling you, this post is so random cause I just need to let out my fangirl side

Cpop was big in the early 2000 - 2010, from f4, s.h.e, jay chou, jolin, rainie yang, show luo... these celebrities even though comes from Taiwan was what formed Cpop. However due to Kpop getting bigger and promoting internationally, the past 7 years people has kind of forgotten about Cpop.

Recently a survival show called Idol Producer just aired and boom! People start noticing the contestants. Idol Producer can be said the ilegal version of Korea's Produce 101. A total of 99 boys compete for 9 spot to debut in a group together. The boys are either trainees from agencies or individual people with no agencies. In my honest opinion, the show was better than the original Korean version as there were hardly any malicious editing and we could really see the 99 boys bond together. It showed us their everyday life where they practice together, have fun together and got pranked by the staffs. They even treat the boys well and give them nice fopods ( Side eyeing korean's ver so bad ).

Instead of a survival show, the fans rather called it a summer camp due to how fun it was. The show was so popular that even contestants from the top 35 got mobbed in the airport. This show has attracted many kpop fans as most of the mentors in teh show are chinese celebs who are in kpop groups, like Lay from EXO, Jackson from Got7, Chengxiao from Cosmic Grils and Pinky from Pristin.

I myself as both a cpop and kpop enthusiast is very very happy. These days I have been well fed with good looking chinese boys on screen and my youtube playlist have been chinese songs these few weeks. It makes us all wonder if the group from this survival show aka 9% will be able to break through the barrier and bring back Cpop.

With that said, I grew up listening to Cpop and here is an ageless song by my queens S.H.E, the only girl group that is still running strong after 15 years.

This song is so so old, but every chinese girl probably heard it in their teens or childhood, yes it is that legendary.
