KLF mysterious as always, fresh as always, this is "No More Tears from The White Room (USA Version) released back in 1990". A very nice tune for some relaxation.
This group was something different they invented the genre "chill-out music" with the release of the album "Chill Out" in February 1990.
The group was consisting of Bill Drummon & Jimmy Cauty , the group had a very different approach to fame and fortune, and after a very controversial "last" performance on February 1992 BRIT Awards...
They eventually came up with the idea to burn Burn a Million Quid, before disappearing in to the woodwork, well Jimmy Cauty continued as a part of the group The Orb for a while...
They still sometimes show up here and there, real pranksters and men of legend...
And they still have a real cult following... I used to listen to their music a lot growing up, it had a deeper mystical meaning to it, unlike most popular music in the early 90ties, and this really fascinated me...
They also wrote and published the somewhat satirical but still relevant book:
"The Manual (How to Have a Number One the Easy Way)"

cool tune, which somehow fits with its vibe into the christmas mood. its not my style, but at least I know, that THE ORB is an absolute classic and legend, so if the person involved in THE KLF was also in THE ORB, then it is a good sight.

This is old-school stuff and maybe my personal "point of view" is a bit tainted from being an early fan in my later childhood...
But with out this group I probably would never have pretended to sleep at a friends house, whilst sneaking out to my first big rave in my early teens, this was in the 90ties...
But I feel like the KLF was a bit like what the Velvet Underground was for punk, but for electronica, trip-hop, ambient and such.
But after they burnt all that money and kind of telling the music industry to "f-off"allegedly by leaving a dead cheep outside that BRIT Awards after-party, I think they lost some cred with the press and such, people didn't see the brilliance in that, and I think they where looked at/portrayed like semi-lunatics.
New generations don't hear so much about them...
But I heard that they released a new book I think it was last year, I would like to read it...
Here you can read the first chapter, seems to have a lot to do with crypto changing the world and five big brands taking over as countries collapse since people stop paying taxes, it's a Sci-Fi novel I guess (or something):

Not sure we will see a full on comeback, Bill Drummond did a international tour of a choir called The17 some years ago it was an interesting project.
I have also seen weird stuff on youtube that looks new, but Im not sure if the original KLF is involved or if it's just like die hard fans having cult-meetings/performance acts...
